Nutella Bombs
Ingredients:
4 brioche burger buns
1/2 cup chocolate spread
1/2 cup icing sugar
How To:
- Preheat your Mistral Pie Maker.
- Cut brioche buns in half.
- Spoon chocolate spread into brioche halves.
- Roll up into a ball shape.
- Lightly grease your Mistral Pie-Maker with butter/olive oil.
- Place pie-balls into the Mistral Pie-Maker for 4-5 minutes.
- Cook until golden brown.
- Dust with icing sugar.
- Retro Jelly Cakes:
- 85g flavoured jelly crystals
- 250ml boiling water
- 125g unsalted butter, at room temperature, chopped
- 100g caster sugar
- 2 eggs
- 150g plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 80ml milk
- Dollop Cream (optional)

Sweet Potato Brownies:
Ingredients:
- Dissolve jelly crystals with boiling water. Set mixture.
- Beat butter and sugar with an electric mixer. Add in eggs.
- Whisk baking powder and flour. Fold into the butter mixture.
- Preheat your Mistral Pie-Maker.
- Divide the mixture into even doughy balls.
- Place doughy balls in your Mistral Pie-Maker, cooking for around 10 minutes.
- Cut your pies in half. Assemble with jelly and cream.
- 1 1/2 cups finely grated sweet potato
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2/3 cup light-olive oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups plain flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
How To: - Squeeze the shredded potato, to eliminate all excess moisture.
- Place brown sugar, cocoa powder, flour, baking powder in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly.
- Add in eggs and sweet potato.
- Preheat your Mistral Pie-Maker.
- Spoon mixture evenly in pie-holes.
- Cook for 8 minutes or until a skewer inserted into centre of cakes comes out clean.
Mozzarella Pocket Pies:
Ingredients:
2 sheets frozen (thawed) puff pastry
250g sliced mozzarella cheese
160g smoked ham
3 eggs, lightly whisked
1/2 cup milk
How To:
- Using your Mistral Pie Cutter, cut 8 circles.
- Place the cheese and ham on half of the circles.
- Top with the remaining puff pastry lids.
- Pre-heat your Mistral Pie Maker.
- Whisk eggs and milk, creating an egg-wash mixture. Lightly brush over pies.
- Transfer pies to your Mistral Pie-Maker.
- Cook for 7 minutes or until golden.
Japanese Rissoles:
Ingredients:
4 eggs
2 tablespoons milk
2/3 cup plain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
200g packet shredded red/white cabbage
Kewpie mayonnaise
1½ tablespoons Okonomi sauce
1 spring onion, thinly sliced
How To:
- Preheat your Mistral Pie Maker.
- Whisk eggs, milk, flour and baking powder in a bowl. Season to taste.
- Mix in shredded cabbage and spring onion.
- Give your Mistral Pie Maker a light spray of oil. Place one-sixth of the mixture into each hole.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes or until about half cooked.
- Using a spoon or fork, flip over. Cook for a further 3-4 minutes or until cooked through.
- Drizzle with Kewpie mayonnaise and Okonomi sauce.
