Mongolian Steak Air Fryer Recipe

  • 500g thinly cut steak
  • ¼ cup corn starch
  • 2 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • ½ cup low sodium soy sauce
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 spring onions, chopped finely


  • Toss the steak strips in a bowl with corn starch until completely coated.
  • Heat your Mistral Air Fryer to 400 Degrees Celsius. 
  • Add the mixture to your Mistral Air Fryer, with a light spray of peanut oil.
  • Fry for 8-10 minutes, gently tossing the mixture to ensure that it’s not sticking to the bottom.
  • While the steak is cooking, heat the excess peanut oil in a large pan on the stove. Add garlic and ginger, cooking for around seconds.
  • Add the soy sauce, water, and brown sugar to the pan, stirring consistently.
  • Toss the cooked beef into the sauce, stirring for 2-minutes.
  • Sprinkle spring onions over the beef before serving
