Meal 1 – Air Fryer Pizza:

Ingredients:

  • 2 Pizza dough balls (as many as required)
  • 1 TBsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ⅓ cup crushed tomatoes
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • Salt & pepper
  • ½ mozzarella ball, cut into quarters
  • Basil leaves 

Recipe:

  1. On a well-floured surface, gently massage the pizza dough into a circular shape until roughly the size of the air fryer basket. Put a light coating of the extra virgin olive oil once complete, and place the dough inside the air fryer, oil side up. 
  2. Combine the tomatoes, oregano, garlic, and salt and pepper, stirring to combine. Using a spoon, add half the mixture to the dough already within the air fryer, ensuring an even spread. Leave a few cm around the edge of the pizza to form an adequate crust. 
  3. Add half the mozzarella slices and cook the pizza at 200C °C for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and crispy. 
  4. Remove the pizza from the air fryer using two sets of tongs, garnishing the pizza with basil leaves. Repeat for the second pizza.
     

Meal 2 – Air Fryer Banana Bread

Ingredients:

  • 150ml Sunflower or Vegetable oil
  • 2 overripe bananas
  • 150g self-raising flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 50g pecans chopped (optional)
  • 50g chocolate chips (optional)

Recipe:

  1. Grease a 1-litre loaf tin and line it with baking parchment. Make sure the tin fits comfortably inside your air-fryer basket. If it’s too large, swap it for a muffin tray or another shape that suits your machine.
  2.  Preheat the air fryer to 160°C. In a mixing bowl, combine oil, sugar, flour, baking powder, and eggs. Mash the bananas and stir them into the batter. Fold in half the pecans and all the chocolate chips. Pour the mixture into your prepared tin and sprinkle the remaining pecans on top.
  3. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Check at the 20-minute mark. If the top is browning too quickly, reduce the temperature to 140°C or cover loosely with foil. Once baked, transfer to a wire rack to cool. Store in an airtight container for up to three days.
 

Meal 3 – Air fryer chicken breasts

Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • ½ tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 ½ tsp garlic granules or crushed garlic
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp mixed herbs or other herbs of choosing
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • Steamed rice (greens or vegetable of your choice make an excellent pairing with this meal) (optional)

Recipe:

  1.  Lightly coat each chicken breast with oil and set aside. In a small bowl, mix salt, garlic, paprika, mixed herbs, and a generous grind of black pepper. Spread the seasoning mix onto a plate.
  2. Roll each oiled chicken breast in the seasoning until well coated.
    Place them in the air fryer basket, ensuring they’re spaced apart for even airflow.
    Cook at 180°C for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway through at the 10-minute mark.
  3. To confirm the chicken is cooked:
  • Pierce the thickest part with a knife, with the juices running clear if the chicken is cooked
  • Or use a meat thermometer to confirm the internal temperature reads at least 70°C
  1. Plate up with steamed rice and greens, or pair with a fresh salad for a lighter option.
