What You’ll Need:

  • 4 Cups rice (Basmati)
  • 1 ½ Cups of coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup of shredded or toasted coconut
  • 2 tablespoons of chilli flakes
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

    How To:

    1. Measure out 4-5 cups of rice, straining in cold water for 1-2 minutes.
    2. Put your rice into the rice cooker along with coconut milk and salt.
    3. Make sure your pot is filled to the waterline.
    4. Place the lid on the cooker and select a 30-minute setting.
    5. While this is simmering away, heat a frypan with coconut oil and toast coconut and chilli flakes.
    6. Serve your rice with the toasted coconut and chilli, enjoy!
