For an afternoon snack that is sure to satisfy your carb-loaded cravings—look no further
than our Mistral Pie Maker, Garlic Bread recipe. This recipe is the perfect guilt-free serving
size, that can easily be stored in school lunch boxes to accompany a salad. Alternatively,
these Mistral Pie Maker treats can be stored in the office work fridge with a clear ‘Do Not
Eat’ label attached.

Ingredients:
- 2 cups self-raising flour
- 90g unsalted butter
- ½ cup shredded cheese
- 3/4 cup full cream milk
- 2 garlic cloves minced garlic
Method:
- Sift the flour into a mixing bowl. Gently rub through 90g of butter, until the mixture is
grainy. - Add ¾ cup of milk, until the mixture becomes doughy.
- Sprinkle extra flour on a flat surface and knead dough until smooth.
- Divide your dough into 8 portions.
- Add shredded cheese and minced garlic into a bowl.
- Set your 8 portions of dough out on a flat surface. Make a tiny well in the centre.
- Pre-heat your Mistral Pie-Maker.
- Scoop even portions of the shredded cheese and garlic mixture, and place into the
dough well. Repeat this step with all dough portions. - Roll dough into balls, until the shredded cheese and garlic mixture is completely
sealed. - Place four of the dough balls in your Mistral Pie Maker.
- Cook for 5 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve solo or with a sprinkle of fresh basil!
